About Us:
‍The Jr Mounties Youth Hockey Program is a brand new program hosting tryouts the week of March 10th, 2025 for its inaugural season 2025-2026. The Jr Mounties will based out of the historic Adelard Arena in Woonsocket, RI. The program has no affiliation with any previous or current local programs and will be forming all brand new teams for this upcoming season. The program's goal is to build on the Mount St Charles Academy legacy while offering great coaching, high end player development, and competitive hockey at all youth levels.

A few highlights that makes our program different:
League Affiliation: The Jr. Mounties' program will compete in the Eastern Hockey Federation (EHF) in its inaugural season 2025-2026. The Jr Mounties enter the EHF as a Tier 1 program for the 2025-26 season. In year one, no Mounties team is allowed to attempt to qualify for Platinum during parity nor are the Mounties allowed to advertise for a Platinum team. As with any team, it is understood that the Tier 1 committee may move any Mounties Upper Gold team (if any have qualified during parity) to Platinum in October for competition purposes. Beginning in year two, the Jr Mounties will be treated as any other EHF T1 program and have the ability to advertise and qualify for Platinum through parity.

First Class Coaching: We pride ourselves in providing the best coaching in the region. Our staff consists of coaches that are former college and professional hockey players with extensive playing and coaching backgrounds. Most of our staff are non-parent coaches and they will deliver an experience like no other with the ultimate goal of developing well rounded hockey players and people. Affordable All-in Pricing: Our program offers the most affordable development model in the region. Our teams will practice 2x/week, in addition skills and goalie training 2xmonth. Tryout season is a time for parents to make decisions based on what is best for their child. It is important to do your research and any avoid rumors. The Jr Mounties are committed to provide the best coaching and hockey development experience for all players and families.
